Brian Morrison (Director)
Brian served his time as a mechanic locally before working in the Middle East in the late 1970’s, he returned to Turriff to set up in business in 1983 in partnership with his brother Eddie. Outside his work commitments Brian has taken part in a couple of charity walks and is also a member and past president of Turriff Rotary Club.
Eddie Morrison (Director)
Eddie worked in the oil industry in the North Sea on various platforms before joining Brian in setting up the business in 1983. In his spare time Eddie is an ardent Turriff United supporter and follows the team at every opportunity.
Doug Shand (Business Manager)
Doug joined Morrison Motors in 2000 having previously worked for Highland Finance and Clydesdale Bank. He is responsible for arranging finance packages for our customers and also runs City and Shire Asset Finance this is our finance broker arm which arranges finance for the purchase of various machinery and vehicles.In his spare time he enjoys playing golf, following his favourite football team- the mighty Keith FC and spending time with his family.
Colin Morrison (Sales Manager)
Colin joined his brothers in 1985 and is now Sales Manager. A car enthusiast he is our ‘encyclopaedia’ on the different cars which we come into contact with especially the exotic supercars such as Porsche and Ferrari.
Derek Leith (Service Manager)
Derek joined the Morrison Motors team in 2015, he started in the motortrade when he was just 15 and has over 32 years combined experience. his main duties include the day to day running of the service department, further developing the Morrison Motors experience and maintaining customer relations. In his spare time Derek enjoys walking his dogs and spending time with his family.
Bill Fraser (Parts Manager)
Bill has worked in the motor trade since 1973 and served his time as a parts-man. He has managed many multi franchise parts departments in Aberdeen and for over fifteen years at Morrison Motors.
Stewart Duncan (Vehicle Sales)
A long standing member of staff, Stewart started 22 years ago while still at school, cleaning cars at weekends etc. Upon leaving school he started full time learning the ropes about selling cars! Stewart also keeps the website updated with car details, photos etc, and changes done as soon as something is sold or has just arrived. Newspaper advertising is also his department although not much of this is done nowadays because of the benefits of being online. Lastly, he is in charge of keeping our car display looking good, priced up etc, and hates a car being out of line!!
Alister Leslie (Vehicle Sales)
Alister started his working life in the agricultural industry before moving into the motor trade. He has been selling cars for over 20 years, working mainly for franchised dealers, before joining the team at Morrison Motors in 2004.
Colin Chalmers (Vehicle Sales)
Colin first started with Morrison Motors back in 1994 and in that time has gained a wealth of knowledge on all the various makes and models of vehicles we deal with here at Morrison Motors.
In his spare time Colin enjoys playing golf, following the 'Dons' and overseas travel.
Mark Astridge (Vehicle Hire / Sales / Social Media)
Mark joined Morrison Motors in May 2004 coming from a logistics and quality control background. He was originally taken on board to head the rental division including controlling the fleet and being the direct liaison to the customers. His duties have now increased to manage the design and development of the website as well as social media updates.
Connor Shepherd (Marketing)
Connor joined the Morrison Motors team part time in 2010, then full time in 2012 upon leaving Turriff Academy his main duties include conducting marketing campaigns, maintaining relations with our valued customers and social media. When time permits he makes himself available to assist in other departments, he enjoys the diversity of assisting different departments and in learning how each aspect of the business operates, In his spare time Connor is an ardent supporter of his local Highland League football team “Turriff United”, he often volunteers out at the club and has the responsibility of being the public broadcast announcer at home games.
Craig Dalgliesh (Service Advisor)
For Craig, it all started in the summer of 2007, having just left the school, working away as paperboy, along came an opportunity for Craig to join the team as a Trainee Parts Assistant. From there on Craig has moved on from his position in the Parts Department to the service side of the business as a service advisor. He still has his stint in the Parts Department from time to time.
Mary Hepburn (Accounts)
Mary joined Morrison Motors in January 1988 at a time when the accounting side of the business was done manually (pen and paper). Her duties now are varied from sales and purchase ledger to payroll and producing the company management accounts.
Sandra Cowie (Accounts)
Sandra joined Morrison Motors in March 2008 to work alongside Mary in the Accounts Department. Sandra has over 30 years varied office experience, mainly in the local area and is responsible for the daily banking and purchase ledger.
Christine Matthew (Sales Admin)
Christine joined the company in October 2001. Alongside Angie she is involved in dealing with all purchase and sales invoicing in the Sales Admin Office. Christine is also the first person who will greet you when you contact the main switchboard. Her other duties include vehicle logistics and completion of private number transfers.
Angie Shearer (Sales Admin)
Angie joined the company in October 2011 to work alongside Christine in Sales Admin. She is involved with all the varied paperwork relating to sales invoicing working closely with the Salesmen and Business Manager.
In her spare time she enjoys walking and spending time with her family and friends.
